Brick is staying with his grandparents this weekend - this is the photo his grandpa just sent me (he doesn’t look like he misses me!)
I’m so glad he’s all better! He was fully recovered by Thursday morning :)
Brick is back to stealing my personal belongings and bouncing around like his normal crazy self - except for the watery poo. Yuck. I’ve resorted to mixing a little broth in his water to make sure he stays hydrated. I’m positive that after he’s all better he will somehow try to trick me into feeding him broth still…

I woke up to whimpering and the smell of diarrhea coming from Brick’s crate - this has happened maybe 3 times since we got him, but this is by far the saddest. He was exploding fluids from both ends. Until tonight I HAD NEVER WITNESSED BRICK REFUSE FOOD. I didn’t even know it was possible! As a younger puppy he used to throw up pretty frequently, but he’s never refused a little bit of food or water! He isn’t hurling any more foamy stuff, so I think this is good. I got him to drink just a little bit of water. Seeing Brick this way is so sad :( He is still being his high maintenance self though…after I washed out his crate he refused to even sit down until I gave him a new towel, and now he’s curled up on it. Hoping we don’t have to make a trip to the vet tomorrow…
